Below are some resources to assist you as a pet owner or cat caretaker in the area. You will find resources related to: Low cost spay/neuter, food and supply support, low cost vaccines and microchipping, low cost bloodwork, and free cat TNR for community cats.
Please note that many clinics are booking a few months out for spay/neuter…so get on their lists early!

Price: $60 spay/neuter & rabies. Open to anyone regardless of county of residence.
Additional low cost services available with or without surgery such as vaccines, microchipping, bloodwork, diagnostics and more! See their site for details and to book
Low cost Spay/neuter, Rabies & FVRCP. $30 male/$40 female. Only available to Ingham county residents who can provide proof of need (bridge/WIC card, student ID, unemployment paperwork, etc.).
They also have a food/supply bank at the shelter, and an outreach center.
Vaccine Clinics for free rabies, FVRCP, and Microchips.
Price: $40(male)/$65(female) Spay/neuter. Rabies is an additional cost and required for surgery.
Additional low cost services available at the time of surgery only. Open to anyone regardless of county of residence.
CAHS also has a food/supply bank for those in need.
Soldan’s Pet Supplies, Tractor Supply Company, Pet Supplies Plus, and others participate with VIP PetCare to provide vaccine and care clinics many stores Does not include spay/neuter.
Pricing varies based on animal and service provided. They offer individual service pricing and complete packages. These include vaccinations, testing, microchip, nail trim, exam, and treatments.

Price: Free Spay/neuter, vaccinations, ear tipping, and traps available to borrow.
Only available to Ingham county residents. Will not fully vet or intake/rehome cats.
This is only for TNR, feral cats, and stray (unowned) cats. You must apply on their site and be approved to use this service. NEVER trap a cat without an appointment and plan.
Price: $45/$55 Spay/neuter, Rabies, & ear tip(optional). $45 for Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, & Washtenaw counties, and $55 for all other counties. Must apply on their site:
